(a) Knockout mice had normal liver with well preserved architecture and absence of inflammatory infiltrate. (b and c) Sites of focal mixed inflammatory infiltrate were observed after adenoviral injection, mainly localized in the perivascular/pericentral areas and around the portal areas.
