The Yugoslav Partisans, or simply the Partisans(Croatian, Serbian, Macedonian, Slovene: Partizani, Cyrillic script:meaning: "partisans") were a Communist-led World War II resistance movement engaged in the fight against Axis forces and their collaborators in Yugoslavia during the Yugoslav People's Liberation War (being part of World War II) from 1941 to The Partisans, led by Marshal Josip Broz Tito, were a communist faction, the main goals of which were the liberation of Axis-occupied Yugoslavia and establishment of a communist state.

3. Crown Prince Alexander Of Yugoslavia with his wife Princess Katherine arrive at the funeral of Monaco's Prince Rainier III at Monaco Cathedral on April 15, 2005 in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Prince Rainier III ruled the tiny Mediterranean principality for more than 55 years, becoming Europe's longest serving monarch. He died aged 81 on April 6 after battling heart, lung and kidney problems.

It is a series of concrete pieces-of-art connected by little concrete paths, and at one point there was even a round spot which faced 8 steps..if you sat on the steps and listened to a person speak at that point it was as if the person was talking into a microphone...perfectly calibrated acoustical space.. i was stunned..actually glad to live in this country.

6. Hotel Jugoslavija translated in English to Hotel Yugoslavia in Belgrade is one of the oldest luxurious Serbian hotels located in the Novi Beograd municipality.
It was opened in 1969 as one of the biggest hotels in the region. It was used as an accommodation for celebrities and high officials visiting Belgrade. Some of the famous people that stayed in hotel Jugoslavija include Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter , U Thant, Queen Elizabeth II, Willy Brandt, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Tina Turner, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, etc. During the years the hotel decayed and has fallen from 5 star hotel to a 3 star one.
