How many hours will pass before he takes a vitamin and cough syrup at the same time? What time will it be? Answer: He will take them together again in 12 hours at 8:00 am the next day. You needed to find the LCM of 3 and 4 which is 12, so in 12 hours he will take them together.

Question 6 Jesse ate 22 ¾ hot dogs in 13 minutes. How many hot dogs did he average per minute? Answer: He averaged 1 ¾ hot dogs per minute. To find the average per minute (“per” means in one minute) you divide the total number of hot dogs by the total number of minutes.

Question 7 At Noah’s restaurant, one serving of chili is 1 ½ cups. If the chef makes 48 cups of chili, how many servings does he make? 32 servings. If you set this up wrong you probably got Have ÷ need! Not first number divided by second number
