Deuteronomy 6:4,5 “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”
Matthew 22: “you shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
1 John 5:1-3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.”

Too many want to separate the diligence from the seeking!
Want to seek God on their own terms rather than God’s terms

Money / Jobs – 1 Timothy 6:10-11
Sports – Do these crowd God out of their schedules?
Recreation – fishing, camping, golf
Our dedication to God is to be year- round!

We need to break down the idols that stand before us
Consider the rich young ruler- Mark 10:17-22

Some hesitate to obey the Gospel due to the “things” & “activities” of this world – their idols
In the Judgement there are many things that will seem very un-important:
Balance in bank account; who scored the winning touchdown; who drove in the winning run; how big a fish we caught or size of deer we shot; etc.
UNLESS they stood in the way of proper dedication to GOD!

THE DEDICATION WE PLACED IN GOD THROUGH THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST!
