Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the right leg shows a 1.1 × 0.6 × 2.4 cm focal area of serpiginous abnormal bone marrow signal in the distal tibial metaphysis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the right leg shows a 1.1 × 0.6 × 2.4 cm focal area of serpiginous abnormal bone marrow signal in the distal tibial metaphysis. The area demonstrates an enhancing, hyperintense peripheral rim and central nonenhancement. MRI of the left leg showed similar findings. Lesley N. Desmond et al.
