All types of information, good and bad available at our fingertips.
Can be used for good or bad – spiritual strength or abuse
Some replacing the church with the internet

Good information if we take time to do the research
Spiritually – we can find encouragement and truthful Bible teaching.
Many brethren have good websites - 2 Timothy 2:15

Portable devices – for some this is their Bible. Also a source of verification and correction
Some stream their services or lessons

Times of services, location, order of services, what to expect, what we believe, etc.

While the internet can be a waste of time, it can also save time – help us better manage our lives. Help locate places. Locate passages or lessons, etc.

There are serious concerns with the internet
Anonymity is a feature that can be good and bad.
In our homes and personal devices we have access to virtually anything, and no one knows what we are looking at!

Gambling is contrary to many Biblical principles

We are to make a distinction between the wisdom of God and man – 1 Corinthians 3:19 Colossians 2:8, 1 Timothy 6:20-21

It is often the preferred way for such to get their message out

Not JUST social media >> web searching, researching hobbies and interests, video games, watching movies an videos – even good ones! Does this hinder our work?

But let us ensure we do NOT use it the way the world does!
