CALL resources have supplemented English teaching in:
Authenticity: Authentic materials experienced by learners. Literacy: master skills as reading, writing, communicating, researching and publishing for academic and occupational goals. Vitality: promotes a free, flexible and real communication. Empowerment: learners are autonomous and collaborative; and teachers teach how to learn and to construct new knowledge.

With CALL… A traditionally self-contained, programmed type
of application where learners were exposed to tutorials, drills, simulations, instructional games, tests, and controlled practices. A more human-to-human communication type of application where learners can potentially communicate with native speakers or any other language learner all over the world on a one-to-one basis or many-to-many basis without restrictions of time or place with access to the Internet.
