8 How much? Short online assignments daily, usually grammar lessons tied to what we are learning in class or vocabulary used in class Why? For practice – graded by completion Homework Policy

9 Benchmark – Unit Tests and Written Assessments once a quarter by standardized Pre-AP online tests and rubric grades State/National PSAT Oct & in spring Assessments

10 Tests/ Quizzes 20% Writing Assignments 30% Classwork 30% Homework 5% Outside Reading 5% Final 10% Grades will be updated weekly Grading

11 Attendance Be on time Be there EVERYDAY Be Prepared
5 absences- parent notification 8 absences- warning notice 13 absences- loss of credit Attendance
