1. Longhorn PCA Drive Lockhart, TX
What: The Longhorn Region is headed out for BBQ in Lockhart, TX. Intent is to drive to Lockhart, TX, and then turn folks loose for the BBQ joint of their choice. There are three historic BBQ restaurants in Lockhart within a couple blocks of the courthouse: Kreuz’s, Smitty’s, and Blacks. There is no cost for this drive- lunch is on your own.
When: Saturday, September 14, 2019.
8:45 AM Meet with your fellow Longhorn Region Porsche
enthusiasts at the Bulverde Crossing parking lot
Sign-in / Insurance Waiver.
9:15 AM Attend Drivers Meeting in the parking lot.
9:30 AM Line up and depart.
Where: FROM the Bulverde Crossing, Bulverde, TX TO the official end point is the courthouse in Lockhart Texas.

2. Directions to Lockhard, TX
Start point is the parking lot at Bulverde Crossing. Reset your odometer to 0 and you depart the parking lot.
Turn left out of the parking lot onto Bulverde Crossing Rd. 0
Turn left onto SH 46 at the light
Turn right onto Spring Branch Rd
Turn left onto Hwy 281 after crossing over median
Turn right onto FM
Turn left onto FM 3424 N
Turn right onto FM
Turn right onto FM 12 (towards San Marcos)
Stay on FM 12 (Keep right on the truck route)
Cross under IH
Turn left (north) onto S. Old Bastrop Hwy
Turn right onto FM 80 (San Marcos Hwy)
Turn left onto FM 142 (towards Lockhart)
Arrive in Lockhart
Blacks BBQ: Left on Main St. as you come up to the courthouse
Kreuz’s BBQ: Left on Commerce Street, just as you pass the courthouse
Smitty’s BBQ: Right on Commerce Street, just as you pass the courthouse

Follow the route out backwards
Follow the route back, but turn south on Tollroad Texas 130
Follow the route back, and turn south on IH 35.
