Increasing the transmission capacity in the north-south west-east direction and facilitate power evacuation from high RES generation sites of Germany;
RES integration (directly into the transmission system and from the distribution network);
Security of supply (consumption increase, decommissioning of old hard coal power plants);
Increasing system flexibility and stability and helping in reducing of infrastructure vulnerability in the south-west-east direction in the Czech grid.
