Pros: Improved visibility of children’s issues. Increased Research on children’s health. Expanded scientific literature on children. Increased emphasis on improving exposure information with recognition of complexities of cumulative exposure roots. Increased use of science for developing mechanistic approaches – recognition of life stage sensitivity.

Cons: Mandated a 10x Safety factor: May give a false sense of safety or overprotection Emphasis Needs to be on understanding mechanisms of susceptibility and response.
