Rope-directions. Just after cutting, seems quite a bit of tension. Possible anchor (block) Before cutting the line After cutting the line Possible Buoy, maybe just a long line. sea current FAD's Edward Berbee - nikhef

-We don’t know the exact configuration (weight of concrete block, force of the possible buoy) -Long connection around the DU might cut the VEOC. -Connecting two or more DU’s lead to collisions and hooking (large forces) -Sliding of the FAD line along a DU possibly leads to damage (Likely loosing clips) -When really fixed to a DU the DU will try to lift the concrete at a certain movement. -When fishermen come to collect their fish they use a large net (>>100m) and collect everything in it; ALSO THE FAD? And then get it on board (and pull an FAD fixed to a DU?) DU DU Rotating sea-current Concrete block FAD's Edward Berbee - nikhef
