Advisors can help you understand: Course timing Equivalent courses Overrides and force requests AP credit and transfer/dual credit Course restrictions and prerequisites Degree plan flow Degree requirements Process of registration Q-drops Minors Changing your major Campus resources Think about: How can I best prepare to meet with an advisor? What questions should I prepare? Could creating a draft schedule help me understand what questions I need to ask? If I look at a degree plan for my major, what flexibility, if any, do I have? If I made an appointment before my registration time, how could this benefit me?
