Escalation The Escalation Campaign is a series of specific encounters between the four factions. Each Season has a four-way battle for Act 1. Then a series of 1,000 pt battles for Act 2, and a battle between the two highest ranked players for Act 3. After Act I, you deploy three warcasters to each of the three scenarios you will play in Act II.. The schedule I worked up requires one game per week. If we have multiple players in a faction, you can pick which battle to ‘count’ against each faction. Since the battles are 1,000 pts, some of us might have to play more than once a week to accommodate the crowded factions. The extra battles can just be scheduled as needed. The two players with the most victory points face off in Act III. Each brings 1,000 points plus their total Survival Bonus.

Format of a Season Playoff: Showdown to determine brackets if necessary (We’re not going to do this) Act I: 4 Factions, represented by winner(s) of Playoff pts. Act II: Everybody plays. Faction who won Act I get +1 on Starting Rolls. Scenarios must be played in order. So week 3: Khador v Cygnar & Menoth v Cryx. Week 4: Khador v Cryx and Cygnar v Menoth, Week 5: Khador v Menoth and Cygnar v Cryx. Act III: 2 Players (Except Fall Season):those with highest & 2nd highest VPs during Act II. Act III (Fall Season): All Four (Or the highest VP from each faction) face off to determine the winner of the campaign
6
Deploying Warcasters These are ‘primary’ warcasters. Your secondary warcaster cannot be the primary warcaster of a scenario you haven’t played yet The order warcasters are deployed depends on the Act I battle. The player who placed last deploys first, and the winner deploys last. Once you have deployed your warcasters, you inform the other players. You only have to assign 1 warcaster to each scenario. Warcasters and Warjacks from Apotheosis are not allowed. Allowed warcasters: Cryx: Deneghra, Asphyxious, Goreshade, Skarre. Cygnar: Haley, Caine, Nemo, Stryker Khador: Sorcha, Vlad, Butcher, Irusk Menoth: Severius, Feora, Kreoss, High Reclaimer Mercenaries: Magnus, Gorten. Note: You need at least four warcasters .
