Suppressed anger. Hopelessness. 80% of diseases are originated or aggrivated by stress Your internal reaction to external reality

3 PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS OF STRESS General lack of energy and constant fatigue. Insomnia or drowsiness. Stiff neck and backache. Indigestion loss of appetite. Weight loss or weight gain. Frequent headaches. Increase in heart beat. Chest burning. Excessive sweating. Rapid breathing.

4 Emotional symptoms of stress Irritability. Mood disorder. Depression. Forgetfulness. Withdrawal from people. Thoughts of suicide.

5 BEHAVIORAL SYMPTOMS OF STRESS Grinding teeth. Nail biting. Hair pulling. Loss of interest in physical appearance. Increased alcohol consumption and smoking. Compulsive eating or dieting.

6 STRESS CHEMISTRY When we are tensed ADRENALINE AND CORTISOL will be released in to the body. When we are relaxed DOPAMINE(PLEASURE),SERETONIN(SLEEP) are released.

7 Are you a stress prone TYPE-A personality? Type A personalities tend to be more successful and they also get 90% of HEART ATTACKS. If you are type A it would be wise to learn how to effectively manage Stress in your body by neutralizing the stress hormones. This may be done by activating relaxation response in your body. IT WILL ADD YEARS TO YOUR LIFE.

8 Stress and happiness don’t co-exist. Happiness is your choice. If you are not happy now and here you cant be happy anywhere anytime. Man is the only animal who can live by choice. Happiness is a state of mind. BUT I HAVE PROBLEMS???????

9 PROBLEMS ARE LIKE LAST BOGIES… DON’T MAGNIFY YOUR PROBLEMS… PROBLEM IS NEITHER BIG NOR SMALL, YOUR SIZE MAKES IT SO… IT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU BUT HOW YOU REACT TO WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU IS IMPORTANT.

10 TO HANDLE THE PROBLEMS, UNDERSTAND THEM FIRST…. 1. DIRECT CONTROL. Don’t become baraath ki ghoda.

11 2. INDIRECT CONTROL. Change the way you communicate with the people./Think WIN/WIN Avoid criticism. Be a good listener. Put positive interpretation to others communication. UNBURDEN YOURSELF. Perfection is a PERCEPTION.

12 3.NO CONTROL PROBLEM. It is not the problem but your resistance to problem creates the pain. Learn to accept. ARTHUR ASH

13 HOW TO HANDLE THE STRESS 1. Live in a day tight compartment. 2. Get all the facts. 3. Prepare for the worst. 4. Consider law of averages in your favor. Learn to love good music. Keep your self away from toxic people. Count the stars against dark sky. Take shelter under humor.

14 Practice PROGRESSIVE MUSCLE RELAXATION. Stress is one way, you being ASSOCIATED with NEGATIVE and DISASSOCIATED with POSITIVE.
