Elevated, wide, flat areas w/ steep cliffs. “Tabletops” or “table lands” Wind and rain carved the sedimentary rock. All 5 national parks

Tributary rivers flow from here into the Colorado river then to the Pacific Ocean. -Colorful rock formations Zion’s, Bryce Canyon are all in this area. Mining for natural resources Water, forests minerals, stone, soil that occur in nature and have economic value.
