Purpose
To explain the storage and moving allowances available to the TSM and the difference between this move and others they have experienced in the military.

Home Of Record Place
recorded as individual home when appointed or commissioned to active duty.

5. Shipment and Storage of Goods
Eligible Retirees and Seperatees with pay
At least 8 years continuous active duty service
Up to one year

6. Housing Counseling Assistance
Purpose
Make TSMs aware of the requirements when moving from government quarters, civilian rental, and government protections you are entitled to and the Housing Counseling Assistance through Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

7. Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA)
Allows member to break lease if PCS’s or deploying
Legal protection for service members
Begins the first day of active duty
