NRR WG Ad Hoc Committee In November 2008, the Working Group has approved the creation of a WG Ad Hoc Committee with the objective of promoting discussion on robustness and reliability Committee reflector and document upload area Study the potential interest of the WG to launch a new standardization activity for a highly-reliable and highly-robust system

NRR objectives and plan
Following the session 62 closing plenary, the WG Ad Hoc Committee aims at working on draft PAR and top level technical approaches Planned activities till session #64 No meetings are planned at the Interim sessions #63 and #63.5 Technical discussions on the reflector Conference call the 17 of September 2009 Conference call the 15 of October 2009

NRR Report Discussion is currently underway on the reflector for elaborating the Baseline for a potential project 32 s have been sent out in August to elaborate the Baseline The Baseline is intended to be finalized the 17th of September 2009 After the September telecon, NRR will start drafting the PAR Current status of the Baseline (not finalized) Modification of the OFDMA PHY, MAC and management interfaces Addressing both fixed and mobile systems Support for Mobile BS and Mobile RS Provision of resilience capabilities Possibility of operation without infrastructure (under discussion) Support for spectrum flexibility below 6GHz
