INSTRUCTIONS: Please use this slide deck to help share information about the PeopleSoft TAM transition with leaders, those with HR duties, recruiting teams, and staff as you see fit. How Open Staff Positions are Posted, Managed, and Applied for is Changing
PeopleSoft Talent Acquisition Management (TAM) is replacing PeopleAdmin as IU’s job posting and applicant tracking system for all staff and temporary staff recruitment needs. Why: The new system gives IU a more efficient recruitment process and an enhanced job candidate experience. When: PeopleSoft TAM launches university-wide for all staff jobs Oct. 1, 2019.

Academic job postings are NOT affected. All job postings will continue to be found at jobs.iu.edu. All job postings will still be found at jobs.iu.edu. PeopleSoft TAM is mobile-friendly and easy to use. The process will be familiar to users of online job application systems. IU HR and UITS job postings will be part of a pilot program beginning in July and August, respectively. Applicants for jobs included in pilots will be directed to create a PeopleSoft TAM account to apply. Current IU employees will authenticate via IU Login. A PeopleSoft TAM account will be pre-populated. PeopleAdmin data will NOT transfer to PeopleSoft TAM. If you have a resume or cover letter saved in PeopleAdmin, be sure to save it elsewhere.

Additional Information for Job Applicants
All staff will begin to receive information about the transition via from HR and IU communication channels early this fall. Any jobs applied for in PeopleSoft TAM will be managed in PeopleSoft TAM. This includes jobs involved in a pilot. Applications submitted in PeopleSoft TAM during the pilot will remain in the system after university-wide go live on Oct. 1, 2019. Any jobs applied for in PeopleAdmin will be managed in PeopleAdmin through Dec. 20, All job openings in PeopleAdmin will be closed on Dec. 21, 2019 when the system retires. Academic job postings are NOT affected. Transitioning from PeopleAdmin to PeopleSoft TAM requires a moratorium (freeze) on new job postings from 5 p.m. on Sept. 13 through Sept. 30, 2019. No new job posting requests will be accepted during the moratorium. See next slide for details. IU HR and UITS job postings are included in pilot programs in July and August, respectively. Those job postings will link to PeopleSoft TAM inside the PeopleAdmin job posting. PeopleSoft TAM launches on Oct. 1, 2019 for all staff job postings and applications. You may resume job posting requests at this time using PeopleSoft TAM. Training is being created alongside pilot programs—it will be available before go live. PeopleAdmin will be available to HR and recruiting teams through Dec. 20, 2019 to close any process begun in PeopleAdmin. Any jobs in PeopleAdmin not filled by Dec. 20, 2019 will be closed. Data will not be retained.

Job Posting Moratorium
A moratorium on job postings will begin at 5 p.m. on Sept. 13 and continue through Sept. 30, No new job posting requests will be accepted during this time. Any job postings for Sept., 2019 must be submitted/routed from the department to the appropriate Budget office (Campus HR for temporary jobs) no later than 5 p.m. on Sept. 13, 2019. PeopleAdmin will no longer accept job applications after Sept. 30, 2019. Pilot groups can continue posting jobs and accepting applicants in PeopleSoft TAM throughout the moratorium. This moratorium is necessary for several reasons: Compliance with records reporting, transitioning for external vendor job boards, and other administrative issues.
