(almost) Arbor Day Journaling! (#18)
What is Arbor Day? When is it? What does the word “arbor” mean? What do people do on Arbor Day? What would you do to celebrate Arbor Day? Hint – it’s something that we’ve talked about before in class! Look up the history of Arbor Day – write down two facts that you found interesting! (Outside) Use the LeafSnap app and investigate one of the trees in our outdoor habitat– make a sketch (with at least 5 labels) and write down 3 facts about the species you chose.

Outdoor Observations – Round 3 (#19)
Students will go to the outdoor classroom and make 5 observations about how the habitat has changed since we made them in November. Note at least one change in the following categories (the last two are up to you!): Biological Physical Environmental (think humans!) Finally, make a note about subtle differences from the September to the Spring.
