5. How Do I Get a PE?
1) Earn a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited program (Purdue!)
2) Pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
Complete four years of engineering experience under a licensed PE
• This requirement varies by state
• Make sure you will be working under a license PE at your prospective employer
4) Complete application to take the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam
