1. Dear Parents,
As you know, testing is right around the corner! We have all been working diligently since the start of the school year, and I am very proud of the hard work and dedication demonstrated by your children. It is now their time to SHINE and SHOW WHAT THEY KNOW!
I would like your assistance in completing a SURPRISE activity that I believe will help to motivate them during testing days. My goal is for your child to walk into the third grade hallway and find posters with heartfelt words of encouragement from the people that mean the most to them… their family and friends! This is where you come in.
Included with this letter are a few examples to help you get started. Feel free to decorate a standard size poster with glitter, stickers, or drawings... the more personalized they are the better! Remember, to write motivational words or quotes to remind your child that he has a support system behind him/her and that you believe in him/her.
Once you have completed the poster, please return them to the school office no later than May 8th. Remember this is a SURPRISE and the children have no clue what is going on! Once again, thank you for your continued support and cooperation! I look forward to seeing the kids grins and giggles as they read your heartfelt words. If you are not able to do this please let me know ahead of time so I can make the necessary arrangements! I would like for every child to have a poster!
