All students are likely to be entered for both English Language and English Literature GCSEs.
There are no longer ‘foundation’ and ‘higher’ tiers in English. All students will sit the same exams at the end of year 11.
Students will be graded from 9-1 in each subject.
There are no longer any controlled assessments in English.
The course is examined entirely through examination at the end of year 11.
