7. >50% of SOCOM Phase IIs Began as Non-SOCOM Efforts
SBIR as a whole invests $2.5B per year in research. USSOCOM SBIR Office leverages this research resulting in over half of our Phase II efforts originating with another Agency. Many of our SBIR/STTR efforts began with non-DoD Agencies.
