Launch into your summer with the Summer Reading Kick-Off at Frontier Park on Tuesday, May 28th from 10 am – 11:30 am Play games! Get a tattoo! HAVE FUN! Eat lunch!

Moon Landing Celebration Celebrate 50 years since humans first walked on the moon! We’ll have activities, snacks, prizes, and surprise guests!

2 Special Programs with the Astronomical Society of Kansas City Look through a solar telescope and pick up some free fun-in-the-sun items (while supplies last!) Learn about the stars, planets, and other things you can see in the night sky!

Don’t miss any of the free fun activities
at the Olathe Public Library this summer! Join the Summer Reading Club—just record any books you read or listen to in a summer reading log! Then, return it to the library beginning on July 22nd to receive a free paperback book and be counted in your school’s participation!

Free meals for kids 18 & under
Meals are only for those 18 and under but adults may accompany children. Kindergartners and younger must be supervised. Meals must be consumed on-site. Friday, May 24th & Monday - Thursday May 28 - August 14th 11 AM - 12:30 PM Olathe Downtown Library only (No meal on July 4) Equal opportunity provider. Sponsored by Harvesters Community Food Network, Friends of the Library, and Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund. Join us for lunch at the library all summer!
