1. Capital Projects Process
Capital budgets are set by government each year
District Education Council makes recommendations to EECD in June based on District staff recommendations
EECD requests capital projects budget in the fall of each year from government
Government announces projects in December/January so projects are completed the following summer
Capital budgets and projects are all managed by Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (from design, tender, monitoring to completion)
