2. TRANSCRIPT DEFINITION
A high school transcript is a permanent record of your academic accomplishments in high school.
Your MHHS transcript includes:
Every class you took in high school
When you took the class
The final letter grade you earned at the end of each semester
The number of credits you earned for each class
A credit summary
Your cumulative high school GPA

3. PURPOSE To apply to college To graduate high school To apply for jobs
Arguably the most important part of your college application
Colleges can learn a lot about you from your transcript
To graduate high school
Counselors review your transcript to make sure you have met all of the graduation requirements to earn your high school diploma
You also need a transcript if you transfer to another high school
To apply for jobs
Some jobs require you to submit your high school transcript when you apply
