3. Artist Research Mott the Hoople-
David Bowie played a key role in Pop's post-Stooges career and was a collaborator on the albums Lust for Life and The Idiot. Bowie and Tina Turner covered his “Tonight” song. Bowie also put out his own version of “China Girl," while Grace Jones covered the icy “Nightclubbing".
In 1971, the band was close to splitting up but continued to record track “All the Young Dudes", a song written for them by up and coming pop star and fan David Bowie.
