Basic requirements Participate in on-campus organization, synthesis, and debriefing sessions held by instructor at home university. End of module 1 (~ Oct 1) End of module 2 (~ Nov 1) End of module 3 (~ Dec 6) 2) Register for and complete one or more modules. Role of instructor: I am responsible for creating a classroom culture based on trust, respect, and sensitivity to one another’s ideas. I am responsible for exposing you to modern theories of hydrology. I am responsible for providing activities and assignments that support your learning, clarity in my expectations around those activities and assignments, and promptness in grading and returning those activities assignments. Finally, I am responsible for listening to your ideas and experiences, and helping you generate and answer questions related to those experiences. Role of Student: You are responsible for attending and being actively engaged in class. When collaborating and working in groups, you are responsible for establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with your colleagues and peers. You are responsible for thoughtfully completing the assignments in the course. Finally, and most importantly, you are responsible for your own learning. Role of everyone: Recognize this is experimental – there will be hiccups, so when things aren’t working well, lets talk about it, be flexible and adapt!
