What We’re Learning
Literacy: Our theme this week is “Seasons”. We read the story “A Tree for All Seasons”. The new words we learned from the story are chilly, bare, cozy, bud, and collect. We learned about “sequencing” and we put our poem in the correct order. We also read the poem “All the Leaves are Falling Down”.
Phonics: We are reviewing all letter sounds. We are focusing on the letter Tt and the words the, see, and on. We are finding pictures of things that start with Tt.
Math: We are continuing to compare numbers through 5.
