Acceleration

4. Vectors Displacement measures Δx, or change in position
Velocity measures displacement over time, Δx/Δt
Acceleration measures change in velocity over time Δv/Δt

5. Vectors
Vectors are straight lines. Regardless of the route taken between two points, the vector is a straight line between them.

6. Changing Vectors
Vectors have magnitude (a number) and direction (an angle). If an object starts moving in a different direction, the vector has changed.
Even if the magnitude of velocity stays constant, if it is going in a different direction, the object accelerated.
