2. GEZZO’S SPIRIT NIGHT
Every Thursday night during football season will be spirit night at Gezzo’s.
Please come out and support your Dutchtown High School football team while enjoying dinner.

3. DRAMA CLUB The time has come to vote!
Please stop by room 308 to vote for Mr. and Mrs. Drama.

4. JUNIOR & SENIOR PROM
The junior and senior prom will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Four Seasons Atlanta.
Prom tickets are now on sale and can be purchased for $100 each until August 31. Prices will increase thereafter.
Tickets can be bought online at myschoolbucks.com. They may also be purchased from Ms. Johnson in room 224 using cash, check or money order.

5. A HELPING HAND
Peer tutoring assistance is available in the media center. If you would like a helping hand, please see Bryce McAllister during 1st & 2nd Block or Michael Idaewor during 3rd block.

6. Game time
JV/Varsity volleyball will play at Starr’s Mill on Tuesday, August 27, at 5:15 PM.
The softball team will host Stockbridge High on Tuesday, August 27, at 5:55 PM.
Freshman volleyball will travel to Luella to play on Wednesday, August 28, at 5:15 PM.

7. SISTERS OF VIRTUE
The ladies of Sisters of Virtue will hold a meeting for current and interested members this afternoon from 3:15 PM until 4:00 PM in the counseling office.

8. BOOK CLUB
The Book Club will meet this afternoon from 3:30 – 4:15 PM. If you were at yesterday’s meeting, you do not to attend today’s session.
Please bring the book that you are currently reading or check out a book before the meeting.

9. ART CLUB
ATTENTION ALL ART CLUB MEMBERS: The Art Club will meet this afternoon from 3:20-3:45 PM in the Art Room.

10. FBLA
If you are interested in joining Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), plan on attending an informational meeting this afternoon from 3:30 to 4:00 PM in room 405.

The first HOSA meeting will be held this afternoon in room 811 at 3:30 PM.

If you are interested in participating in the annual 2019 Latin dance, please come to room 212 at 3:30 pm this afternoon to audition.

Dutchtown wrestling is having a wrestler/parent interest meeting this evening at 7:00 PM in room 116.

14. YOUTH LEADERSHIP HENRY
Attention Sophomores: If you are interested in participating in Youth Leadership Henry, a countywide leadership program interacting with community leaders, please pick up an application in the counseling center. The application deadline is Wednesday, August 28.  See Ms. Pruitt for further details.

15. ACADEMIC TEAM
Academic Team try-outs will be held on Thursday, August 29, from 3:30 to 4:15 PM in room 212.

16. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
There will be an NHS interest meeting on Thursday, August 29, in room 335 at 3:30 PM.
The newly elected officers are: Nikyah Little – President; Kayla Lopez – Vice President; Kennedi Clemons – Secretary; Gurjot Singh – Treasurer; Joshua Nogal & Christian Nogal – Reporters.

17. PICTURE DAY
Cady studios will be on site to take underclassmen photos on Friday, August 30, during 2nd block.

18. SENIOR LUNCH JAM
The senior lunch jam will be held on Thursday, September 5, during 3rd block. The cost is $5 to enter and $15 with food. All fees must be paid to Ms. Martin in room 110 by Tuesday, September 3.

19. JUNIOR LUNCH JAM
The junior lunch jam will be held on Friday, September 6, during 3rd block. Tickets can be bought from Ms. Johnson in room 224. The last day to place a food order is Wednesday, September 4.

20. HBCU COLLEGE FAIR
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will sponsor an HBCU College Fair on Saturday 7, 2019 from 10 AM to 2:00 PM at Tabernacle of Praise Church in McDonough.
