September Recap
September was a busy month for members of 11:Teen. We took our Next Steps in many directions. The month started with a group of youth and adults having a mulching party to prepare the grounds for our Back to Church Sunday. Saturday, September 21, found some of our youth joining members of the Outreach team to clean up Packery Flats during the annual Adopt-a-Beach event. We had 8 youth attend the Coastal Bend District Youth Rally at Camp Zephyr on Saturday, September 28. While we were there three of our confirmands were yolked with wooden crosses and prayed over by the group. There was also worship with communion, games, food, and a chance to get to know members of other youth groups in the Coastal Bend District. On Sunday afternoons we played Bible Bingo, began planning for our Haunted House and even found some time for homework, pizza and hotdogs.
Sunday, September 29, was a great first meeting of the Confirmation Class. The group met at Kiko’s and explored “Why Confirmation? The B-I-B-L-E”.

9:00 – unload pumpkins
We’re done when the last pumpkins are unloaded, bring a friend…the more the merrier and the faster it goes.
Saturday, September 19
We provide the Haunted House
Meet at 9:00am to prepare
Event is from 4:00- 7:00
We’ll be there all day so lunch will be provided.
Thursday, October 31
5:00-7:00pm
Church parking lot
We need non-chocolate candy donations
Costumes are fine but remember this is an outreach for the younger neighbors (not too scary)
