What is hockey? Ice hockey is a contact team sport played on ice in a rink Two teams of skaters use their sticks to shoot a rubber puck into their opponent's net to score points The sport is known to be fast-paced Ice hockey is the most popular in Nordic and European countries

Rules of hockey 6 players play in each team (5+1)
The point of game is to shoot puck in opponest´s net with wooden stick Total time of playing is 60 minutes, parted on three 20 min long thirds

1925- first Tatra cup, was in Starý Smokovec (second oldest event of this type in Europe) Slovenská župa Československého svazu kanadského hockeya was found on 1930- first official hockey event in Czechoslovakia Through war played Slovakia as country 1963- Czech and Slovak national league started to play separately 1985- last world title as Czechoslovakia 2002- Slovak team won the World cup
