Make hospital tray favors
Work a “Buddy”® Poppy Drive
Carry a flag in a parade
Write letters to a Senator or Representative
Bring comfort to a hospitalized veteran
Make students aware of the Scholarship programs available
Rally youth to help pack care packages for our troops

11. Adopt-A-Member

12. Adopt-A-Member Consider paying Annual dues for:
• A major milestone of continuous years of membership. Ex.: 10, 15, 20, 25 years, etc.
• A birthday gift.
• Helping out with an expense while they continue their education.
• To say thank you.
• Consider purchasing a Life membership from the Auxiliary
• As a token of appreciation.
• As a thank you for all a member has done for the Auxiliary.
• To honor their years with the organization.

13. Awards for Members Red Plumeria Pin for 5 new and/or rejoined members.
White Plumeria Pin for 10 new and/or rejoined members.
Blue Plumeria Pin for 20 new and/or rejoined members.
Special VFW Auxiliary Member Drawing for each VFW Auxiliary member who recruits five (5) new and/or rejoined members. Your name will be entered in a drawing for $300 cash.

14. NATIONAL AWARDS FOR AUXILIARIES
50/50 Award $50 to each Auxiliary that reaches 95% by November 30, 2019 and $50 to each Auxiliary that reaches 100% Plus by January 31, 2020 based on the June 30, 2019 total membership numbers.

Auxiliary reaching 100% in membership by August 31, 2019 receives $40
Auxiliary reaching 100% in membership by September 30, 2019 receives $35
Auxiliary reaching 100% in membership by October 31, 2019 receives $30
Auxiliary reaching 100% in membership by November 30, 2019 receives $25
Auxiliary reaching 100% in membership by December 31, 2019 receives $20
All Auxiliaries reaching 100% in membership by April 30, 2020 will be entered into a drawing at Department Convention for $100
