PCB
Cloths Iron set at 160 deg.
Roller
Steel Wool Soap Pad
Brasso
PCB Marker Pen
Alfoil
Photo Resist / Paint Stripper
Acetone
Freezer ( Fridge )

2. Heat PCB to 165 deg using cloths iron. (2 min)
Laser print artwork onto cheap gloss photo paper.
Cut PCB slightly bigger than required. More at the top &
bottom than for each end.
* Clean PCB with soap pad/brasso, make sure absolutely clean.
Heat PCB to 165 deg using cloths iron. (2 min)
Cut artwork to size, height correct & ends longer.
- Place artwork on PCB & roll with roller.
Heat again with iron, 10/20 sec, make sure edges are done.
Put PCB in a freezer for 3 min. helps seal ink to PCB.
Take out of freezer & heat again for 5/10 secs. – helps loosen
paper from ink.
Peel of paper – all of the ink should be on the PCB.

3. Send around samples.

4. Etching -- Items Required
Ammonium Persulphate – 1 part crystals to 5 parts hot water. 70 deg.
Two plastic containers. – One for the PCB & one for the 1st container.
Non metal stick to agitate PCB in container. (Safety goggles)

5. Using Ammonium Persulphate mix one part crystals to five parts hot water
in a plastic/glass container just big enough for the PCB. (Water heated to 70 deg.)
Put hot water into 2nd container and place the 1st container inside the 2nd.
(Keeps the etchant at 70 deg. where it works best.)
Place the PCB in the etchant and agitate for approx 10 min when all the copper
should have dissolved.
Wash etched PCB in cold water.
Clean of ink with steel wool soap pad / nail polish remover / Acetone.

6. Send around samples.
