HR for myocardial infarction. Model 1 is adjusted for sex, age and diabetes duration. Model 2 is adjusted for sex, age, diabetes duration HbA1c, blood pressure (both diastolic and systolic) and smoking. Model 3 is adjusted for sex, age, diabetes duration, HbA1c, blood pressure (both diastolic and systolic), smoking, microalbuminuria and macroalbuminuria, lipid-lowering agents, blood pressure medications and level of education. Model 4 is adjusted for sex, age, diabetes duration, HbA1c, smoking, lipid-lowering agents, blood pressure medications and level of education.
