Vocabulary Lesson 7-5 Guess the meanings of the italicized stems by looking at the word in context. 1. The man was exasperated at his young son being a coward; that little boy was always afraid of his own shadow! 2. It is important to have a faithful and trustworthy confidant to tell your secrets to. 3. When rock climbing, be careful of the giant megaliths. 4. The woman thought she was only having triplets, but after another sonogram , she discovered she was having quadruplets. 5. The advent of a new six weeks will be approaching in just 3 weeks.
