3. How to craft an argument
You will get multiple points for being able to accurately speak about key terms and people in a relevant way that will be helpful to your argument. For example: “Reconstruction was a failure because Johnson as a president pardoned the same wealthy southerners who wanted to maintain their power. This eventually led to the Southern governments passing the Black Codes…..(continue to talk with more details about the black codes and who the Southern governments are)

4. Format
Alternating rounds of 3-5 minutes each and5-10 minute work times in between. More specific information and rubric will come tomorrow.
