11. CYCLING You MUST wear a helmet that fits
Your feet must touch the ground when you’re sitting on your bike
Get an adult to check your brakes, chain, lights and handlebars
Use cycle lanes
Do BIKEABILITY training as soon as you can

12. Travelling by Car
Get in and out of the car from the kerb side, not the side facing the road
Shut the door properly
Always use a car seat or the seat bet – IT IS THE LAW
Never lean out of the window
Don’t distract the driver or block the rear view mirror
