DSI vision Joining and Leaving Satellites which meets the technical, economical and regulatory requirement should be able to join and leave the constellation at any time. Why we do this? Space exploration is dominated by governments and large corporations Private investors hesitate to invest in space businesses (long timelines and costly infrastructure) Commercial space projects tied down by conventional economic models (hampers growth and success) All these issues hinder space exploration and technology innovation Intra-constellation communication Participating satellites should be able to communicate with each other. Communication Networking Hardware Distributed Ledger-Based Communication within the constellation should be recorded and viewable to constellation users. Ground Network Connection The constellation will be connected to the ground blockchain network via ground station and terminals.
