MSCHE Recommendations – OUTCOME OF THE ACCREDITATION ACTION in Spring 2019
A recommendation is a directive by MSCHE to improve/change a process in order to fully meet the standard Brooklyn College must: “Enhance the assessment and monitoring of the SLOs to ensure timely, sustainable and consistent implementation.”

Brooklyn College’s Response
Faculty Review and Evaluate the SLOs for each Degree Program Evaluation/Workshop Session as scheduled by the School Dean Support from the Office of Assessment

Timeline for SLO evaluation
Faculty are identified by Chairs/Program Directors/Major Coordinators to participate in the evaluation session of the departments’ degree program level SLOs Workshop/Evaluation Sessions scheduled by School Revise SLOs as needed and submit to School Dean

Office of Assessment Office Hours
The Assessment Manager will hold regular office hours from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM on Tuesdays and from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesdays. Assessment Manager Help Request Form: x5280
