4. Home/School Communication
At Summit we encourage and welcome communication from parents. s are a great way to keep in touch with us!
If you are calling the classroom, during the day, your call will be forwarded into the classroom’s voice mail. Teachers and/or other staff members will contact you before or after school.

5. Annual Review Process CPSE/CSE Meetings
2 scheduled meetings per year, with parents
CPSE/CSE Meeting, with District and Summit Staff. The purpose of this meeting is to develop and approve a new Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Summit staff strongly encourages parents to attend this meeting as it a mandated meeting.
For transitioning students (Preschool to District or Creekside to Adult Services) an additional meeting/s may be required prior to the CPSE/CSE meeting.
Parent/Teacher Conference, with Summit Staff - informal meeting with your child’s teacher to discuss progress within the classroom and to share information from a home/school perspective.

6. Annual Review Process CPSE/CSE Meetings
If your child’s CPSE/CSE Meeting is taking place in the Fall, 2018…..the Parent/Teacher Conference will be held in the Spring, 2019 If your child’s CPSE/CSE Meeting is taking place in the Spring, 2019….the Parent/Teacher Conference will be held in the Fall, 2018 Of course…..you may request additional meetings with your child’s teacher, as needed throughout the year.

Training for ALL staff on allergy safety and Epi-pen administration
Individual signs both inside and outside the classrooms for students with life-threatening allergies
