This course is designed to provide prospective and current school staff (counselors, teachers, human services professionals, administrators, etc.) with information about contemporary mental health concerns in school aged individuals. Emphasis is placed on developing the awareness, knowledge and skills necessary to effectively negotiate the many forces that impact the lives and academic achievement of students.
