Find that Treasure! – Grade 2 Activity  At the primary level, the thinking ability of children, problem solving skills and other such important traits need to be honed.  Treasure hunt is one such activity that children not only enjoy but also learn from.  Recently, a treasure hunt activity was organized for students of grade 2. They were divided into groups of five and had to work as a team to find the treasure following the clues.  During this activity, the 2nd graders got their thinking cap on and exhibited the necessary leadership and communication skills.

Arith Activity for Grade 3  To help our students become efficient in mathematical calculations such as counting, subtracting etc., a special activity was arranged for students of class 3.  They were divided into 2 groups and were given sets of cards, containing questions and answers.  Students had to match their answers according to the cards. This encouraged the students to calculate fast. Take a look at the students enjoying the activity.

Shakespeare Fiesta 2019 for Grade 4  Shakespeare Fiesta’s back with a bang in Udgam School.  Our students of class 4, presented an excellent show on Shakespeare and on ‘The Merchant of Venice’, the famous play written by him.  The event commenced with a lively song ‘ William Shakespeare’ by the students, followed by enacting the early life of ‘The Bard’.  After these initial performances which earned huge rounds of applause, began the scenes from ‘ The Merchant of Venice.

Gratitude towards Teachers- A Grade 5 Assembly  Teachers are our superheroes- this thought was successfully conveyed by our students of class 5 in the morning assembly.  They paid a tribute to the teachers through a beautiful song –‘ In the moment’, which brought a smile to everyone’s face.  This delightful assembly concluded with the students distributing a surprise gift as a token of appreciation to principal, supervisors and all the teachers present.

6. Wall of Fame at Udgam School  As a part of the reading year for students of our primary section, a set of challenges were given to them.  The ones who successfully completed the 'Reading Challenges' earned a badge from their teachers. To mark this achievement, a wall of fame is created in the premises of our school.  Together with their teachers, our little readers beautified a big wall with their colorful palm prints, signing their names and also, wrote the name of their favourite books.
