Summer Bridging Course – Pilot
WHO: Kalamazoo Promise FTIAC’s
WHAT: This course is designed to improve the high school senior’s success in making the transition from high school to college through the following:
Expanded orientation to KVCC
Introducing basic college expectations and success strategies
Foundational instruction in the areas of: (self) one’s own passions; (external resources) the college and community; and (career) linking strengths and vocational opportunities
WHERE: Two Sections – one morning and one afternoon
One at AWH
One at TTC
WHEN: Second 8-week summer session
