Figure 1 Follow-up of incident abnormal estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) results: distribution of care-gap frequency by physician (among physicians with at least 10 eligible patients). Patients were considered to have a care gap in the follow-up of an incident abnormal eGFR result if they did not experience one of the following: a repeat creatinine laboratory test 60 to 150 days after the incident abnormal laboratory result, an earlier repeat creatinine test indicating normal kidney function, or a diagnosis of chronic kidney disease or kidney cancer before 60 days.
