Press MODE key Use the down ARROW key and select a+bi Press ENTER.

3 Adding Complex Numbers
Add the two complex numbers: (2+3i ),(-1+4i) Locate the i key (Press 2ND then .) Type: (2 + 3i) + (-1 + 4i) Press ENTER. The sum is (1 + 7i) DONE

4 Subtracting Complex Numbers
Subtract the two complex numbers: (2+3i ),(-1+4i) Locate the i key (Press 2ND then .) Type: (2 + 3i) - (-1 + 4i) Press ENTER. The difference is (3 - i) DONE

5 Multiplication of Complex Numbers
Multiply the two complex numbers: (2+3i ),(-1+4i) Locate the i key (Press 2ND then .) Type: (2 + 3i) (-1 + 4i) Press ENTER. The product is ( i) DONE

6 Division of Complex Numbers
Divide the two complex numbers: (2+3i ) by (-1+4i) Locate the i key (Press 2ND then .) Type: (2 + 3i) / (-1 + 4i) Press ENTER. Your answer will be in decimal form. Use the MATH key to convert it to fraction form. The quotient is (10/17 – 11/17i ) DONE
