Day 5: 10/7 Unit 3: Middle Ages Project

2 Check in with your group
This is your last day to work on your project. You have all the information you need. You have successfully summarized your information. Now it is time to prepare a way to share that knowledge with the class. Please use today wisely. With your group please do the following: Check in to see how each group member is doing Make sure you are all on the same page for the presentation Assign parts so that everyone can participate in the presentation portion of your project Practice! Reminders: Presentations will be split between Tuesday (10/8) and Thursday (10/10) The order of presentations will be random so please be prepared to go on Tuesday

Day 5 Agenda Finish and Practice Presentation Task: Finish your presentation Complete your comprehension check Run through your presentation once as a group (if a group member is absent, please remember to include them in the presentation) Due Tomorrow 10/8: All final products for your presentation (groups will be assigned at random so be prepared to present)

4 Your Presentation: You must receive approval for your method of instruction. You must come up with a creative way to present the information to the class. The more creative the format, the more points you will earn. This is how you plan to teach the class. Your presentation must include the following elements: Information related to all of the guiding questions. Visual depictions of the content (images, video, skit, etc.) A comprehension check for the class—must be a Handout of some kind (worksheet, mini-quiz, ticket out the door, etc.) NO KAHOOTS!!!! Presentation must be 5-8 minutes in total Examples: MAKE A POSTER, PERFORM A SKIT, CREATE A VIDEO/PODCAST, PLAY A GAME, TELL A STORY, MAKE A COMIC, CREATE AN INFOGRAPHIC, MODEL, PAINTING, ETC.

5 Your “Handout”: Along with your presentation, you will need to provide some type of comprehension check to ensure your classmates understand the information you present. Criteria: Provide the class with a comprehension check at the end of your presentation A comprehension check for the class—must be a Handout of some kind, wither digital or hard copy (worksheet, mini-quiz, exit ticket, etc.) Get creative! This should take 3-4 minutes of the overall presentation
