List Poetry sources of grayness by Mrs. McAuliffe clouds above my head
There are so many things that can be written about in lists, that sometimes we cannot think of a thing to write. To help, some ideas for lists are below. List poems can rhyme or not. It is up to the writer to decide which style he or she uses. Assignment: Write two list poems. They must both be at least 8 lines. The Sources of: grayness, darkness, softness, redness, squeaks, cold, sight, etc… Things that: ring, give light, you find in the grocery store, hear in your house, smell at school, are round/square, are any color, etc… Things: to do waiting for the bus, to try to fall asleep, you should have done, you should not have done, that make you feel tall, that make you feel small, that you tell your parents, etc… sources of grayness by Mrs. McAuliffe clouds above my head reflections off the lake words from my mother rain on my face early morning days life without your praise a broken-hearted wish the lies from your lips
